If you're looking for something to watch on Netflix tonight, you might be interested in Commando One Man Army. The film is an action-packed killer's tale starring Scott Adkins and Danny Dyer. While the name might not be the most creative ever, this movie is definitely an action-packed film worth checking out. As the title suggests, the film is all about the eponymous action hero himself... The film tells the story of one man who decides he needs to be the best at everything he does. After years of trying to be a soccer star, or local kickboxing champion, or even just trying to hold his own in general, he finally sets his mind on becoming an experienced commando. However, when his first mission goes horribly wrong, his fellow commandos take it upon themselves to exact revenge on him for their losses. Unlike many action movies nowadays where it's not wise to listen too much into the plot because it will ruin things for you anyway (i.e. the Bourne series), Commando One Man Army is actually a pretty decent movie. In fact, they might as well have called this movie "Commando Captain America". The film is a lot of fun and Adkins is one of those actors who proves that he really can deliver on action scenes. I particularly loved the rooftop fight scene where he has to fight a whole bunch of opposition at once. This guy really knows how to go all out and look good while doing it. Some of his most memorable feats in the film include using torn paper as a way to blindfold his opponents, or using a bazooka to sink ships in the sea (really, seriously!). The movie delivers on the action, but there are some things that hold it back. For example, Danny Dyer is in the film. Look, if you're an old school action movie fan then you'll probably have a soft spot for guys like him. Sure, maybe he doesn't have the best acting skills in the world but he has enough presence to keep this film ticking over nicely. However, if you're not used to seeing Danny Dyer in movies then this might be a deal-breaker for you. He's just really hard to take seriously at times - especially when he's tasked with fighting Adkins in hand-to-hand combat! Still, Commando One Man Army is a well worth watching.
